Mozilla will end support for Firefox Private Network on June 20th, 2023. You'll no longer be able to subscribe to Firefox Private Network, or install, reinstall, or use the extension. As an alternative, learn more about creating a secure, private connection to the internet using Mozilla VPN.

Firefox Private Network may block parts of real-time communication sites like Google Hangouts and Meet, Messenger.com, Jitsi.org, Talky.io and webex.com to protect your connection. In these cases, Firefox Private Network will prompt you to turn it off to enable a site’s functionality.

If you are having problems using these sites, try turning off Firefox Private Network:

  1. Click the Private Network button fpn new button on the toolbar to open the panel.
  2. Click the slider to turn it on or off.
    switch fpn on new
