Attached file VID_0011.3gp
Description:
Today I was testing the Camera app and recorded a series of 15 one-minute-ish video clips with the phone (Flame on 3.0 nightly). For some reason, VID_0011 is showing up in my music app. It is a 43 second video (of blackness - face down on desk) but shows up as 00:00 in the music app. It has no image (gets a default) and is listed under Unknown artist.
When transferred to another tester's phone on the same build, it showed up in that music app as well.

Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame to 20150311010231
2) Download the attached file and place it on the internal storage
3) Launch Music App
4) Find video in music app

Actual:
Video file is 'seen' by music app

Expected:
file will no be present in music app

This issue did NOT repro on 2.2 when transferring the file to the internal storage

Not marking as a regression - might not be a valid check

This issue is NOT a regression, as I was able to reproduce this issue on Flame Master, 2.2, 2.1, 2.0, and v18D-1 Base Image (2.0). However, I was only able to reproduce this issue on 1 out of 3 devices with the same builds. I was unable to figure out the exact pre-requisite for this issue.

ni?ing Hema for assessment. Although it's not a regression, I have seen this occasionally (although I could not consistently repro it) and would be great if we can resolve this.

Hub,

When you get a chance please investigate whats going on.

Thanks!

I can not reproduce here.... either with the factory memory capacity or the crippled 319MB. This is with master

I can't reproduce on today's master branch or 2.2 branch. I do remember seeing this bug before, but I think this no longer reproduces. Could it be rechecked and see whether we can close this bug? Adding qawanted flag for it.

I was able to reproduce this issue on 1 out of 3 devices on today's Flame Master and 2.2. The specific 3gp file appears in Music app.

I'm suspecting it has something to do with older music db. Since I can't repro this bug anymore. If the device is completely formatted and resetted (i.e., running make reset-gaia to flash gaia over adb), I wonder whether this will still happen. All of my devices are cleaned by running marionette tests (they reset the device each time).

since it's a bug with low repro rate, I'm marking it with polish keyword until it comes back.
