This article is no longer maintained, so its content might be out of date.

Normally when you invoke the About Thunderbird window, information about the current version and build is displayed. However, if you have installed the Mnenhy add-on, the correct build text may not be displayed.

  1. In the menu bar, click the Thunderbird menu and select Settings.Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and choose Settings.
  2. On the Advanced panel, select the General tab.
  3. Click the Config Editor button. Clear any warning message that is displayed.
  4. Enter useragent in the search box.
  5. Click on the preference called general.useragent.override (which should be displayed in bold text).
  6. Right-clickHold down the control key while you click the preference and select Reset.

The About Thunderbird window should now show the correct value.
